Hi folks, my 15" 1.25ghz powerbook's battery is struggling to maintain an hours worth of charge now. Question is, where is the best place to get a replacement, should I get an Apple one, and what kinda cost am I looking at? I'm in the UK.

Cheers me dears ;)

btw. how long should a new battery last before recharging? Usually doing PS work, iPhoto, and wireless internet access.

First of all, if you haven't already, then check here to see if your existing battery qualifies for the replacement programme.

Sorry, I knew there was something else I meant to put in my post! Yes I have checked and it ain't in the list unfortunately :(

Thanks anyway

I bought a Newer Tech (I think that's the right name) battery from macsales.com. It is a higher capacity battery, and cost $139 US. Don't know if they ship to UK or not, but as far as what I got, I am very happy. Quick shipping, too -- ordered online on Saturday, and had it in my hands on Tuesday.

Good luck!
