G4 Quicksilver's audio system. What's the deal?

Can anyone tell me what exactly this entails? I'm buying one tomorrow and was just curious about this particular feature.

A lot of audio jargon maybe? My old Digital Audio G4 had that too, if that means anything.

Does it have to do with the apple digital audio matching speakers? the matching plug on the back of the system specifically there for the apple pro speakers.
