My friend owns the G4 tower graphite w/ clear plastic handle, online service requires 10.3. What start up disk does she need.
I have a mac mini intel, ibook g5 and ibook. None of my software would work would it? What does she need to buy to have high speed or is this even going to work?

None of your gray discs are going to be able to upgrade the Power Mac G4. High-speed internet should work regardless of the operating system unless there's an application to set it up. Failing that I know that my siblings have "lost" their ISP bloatware discs and have setup their access via web.

what do you mean by "via web".
The instuctions said a minimum os requirement of 10.3

You're given limited web connectivity to create an ISP account on a web page in order to get high speed access.

The operating system version is nearly irrelevant.

I never install the software from the ISP. As noted above bloatware is a good term.

Just connect the Apple to the cable modem/router and configure the network settings.
