My G4 tower (Dual 933 MHz PowerPC G4) case is really beat up. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement?

BTW: A third-party case would be really cool to find!:D

You have no choice but to buy a dual 2GHz PowerMac G5. :D

I can't help you unless I know if you have a quicksilver or MDD (mirror drive doors) model.

I believe it would be a Quicksilver.

I don't think I'd try to get a new case. Even if you totally lucked out and found one, it would be very expensive. Apple's cases are made of expensive plastics and metals. I imagine they are quite costly to produce.

Is it scratched up? Or does it have gouges in it. You could paint it--I've seen some pretty cool Mac case mods. I'de leave the front and feet/handles, and paint the sides black. In some areas, you can paint underneith the clear plastic and that'll look bitchin. :D

Don't you dare paint over the apple, though.:D

Don't replace it! You just finished breaking it in.:D If you really have to have the smooth and shiny though, some regular PC cases might work with some major modifications.
