I just installed a 400mhz Sonnet G4 upgrade into my 8600/200. It is running Mac OS 9.1 and QuickTime 6.
I installed the Sonnet software, and fired up Final Cut Pro, but noticed that now all my videos in FCP were displaying strange artifacts. Then I opened some DV videos in QuickTime player and they too were showing artifacts, that mostly look like flickering rectangles of inverted color.
I remember back in 2004 when I had a Wallstreet PowerBook, I had the same problem when I installed a Sonnet G4 upgrade and the Sonnet upgrade software, and I figured out a solution, but now I can't remember what that solution was.
Does anybody have an idea of what I'm talking about?
It also appears to only do that when a video is playing. When I scrub forward or back, it doesn't do it. Only when playing.
