Thinking on buying a eMac for 35 pounds, below are the spec:

Apple G4 eMac 1GHz 40GB 512 DDR RAM USB2 No Optical scratches on screen
No Optical drive Model
In good working order
USB2 models with DDR RAM
It has been Cleaned inside and out and checked it is NOT suffering from the capacitor issue that some of these models suffered from
Running OSX Tiger 10.4.11
G4 1 GHz Processor
No Optical Drive ( one can be fitted but you will need brackets, screws and an IDE cable to connect it )
512 MB PC 2700 DDR RAM
40 GB Hard Drive
32 MB VRAM
2 x Firewire 400 ports
3 x USB 2 ports
No Modem
Sound in and out ports
It has a New PRAM Battery
Mains Cable included
The cases are in good condition but are marked on the top where a security Mark has been removed*
The screens gives a good clear image but does has some scratches and small chips in it
Running OSX Tiger 10.4.11

Fully updated via Software Update and Permissions repaired

not really mate, you oughta be able to pick up a Dual G4 MDD or something similar to that for that price..

surfing the net wise is gonna be difficult if you use any sites that have flash on it.. sides that it would work okay. :)

and really... 35 pounds.. WTFC.. mate, your asking if its worhile buying a whole computer for the same price as 5 pints at your local.... considering i blew about 100Aus out the window last night and have nothing to show for it but a sore head, id recon 35 quid is a bargain. :p <--- and you get no headache. (Bonus)
 
I would have to say not worth it since the G4 FW800 Dual 1.42 or 1.25 can handle things a lot faster.. Either consider a G4 MDD dual 1.42/1.25 or a G5 Dual core 2.3.. if you like liquid cooled machines, the G5 Quad is really nice and powerful which I also have.
