G400 mouse question

If I set my G400 to have a polling rate of 1000 in Windows, will this transfer over to Linux and OSX?

Also, does anyone happen to know if the DPI values will save either? Thanks!

Perhaps maybe with of thought of something if you haven't done by yourself by doing a google search on the g400 mouse whether it compatible on the mac you might find answers for something you asking here...

According to logitech forums, there are no official drivers for this g400 mouse for the macs

but you could use these http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse but you may not get same functionality as on windows

I am aware there are not drivers for OSX. There weren't or my MX518 either, although I used that every single day with no issues. What I'm curious about now, is whether or not I can set settings in Windows on my G400, and if they wil l retain their settings once I reboot into OSX. Mainly the polling rate, and DPI.

Probably not since it mac os x and the fact that these gaming mouses are design to work on windows and not on the mac. The settings on mac os x are probably won't be the same as the settings on windows and therefore the settings may not be retain when boot into another operating system. unless the people who make these mouses provide the same functionality and or settings for the mac os x.
