It's on my studio computer. A few suggested that it was my video card because when the problem started, after the boot tone, the screen stayed black. I removed, cleaned, and then re-seeded the video card and now get it to boot but when entering SafeMode, I key in my password then the hard drive gets silent quickly and it never moves on from there.
Suggestions?

Mac-Luck! I kept trying to reboot in SafeMode and it finally took. Then I inserted INSTALL CD and reinstalled system... Weirdest thing I've ever seen!
