G5 2.5 Rev B + Tiger DVD Drive not supported?

Anyone else have their G5 rev B + Tiger stop supporting their DVD drives?

Just curious - any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm...... is it the orginal disc?

Mine works fine... if that heps at all.

edit: i think i may have read your question wrong. I have the SONY DVD RW DW-U21A drive and its working great.

I have Pioneer 109 connected via firewire and Tiger said that drive was unsupported.
