Hi new here, I have a question re my G5 2.7.

I am experiencing some high temperature spikes while running Rember on the Memory Control Heatsink sensor, rising to 107ºC usually briefly, dropping as fast as it rose. Especially at the beginning of each Rember test run.

I have been having some reliability issues, which seem to be coming under control, but I want to check out these apparently high readings before I set the machine back to work.

The Memory Control Heatsink temperatures normally average ~ mid 60ºC It only seems to climb so high when I run Rember.

I want to check the heatsink is in good contact with the chip, and not covered in dust, or other blockage of cooling air.

Any comments would be welcome. PLEASE?
