G5 and a AppleVision Moniter

Well as soon as Apple releases the Rev. B. I am going to get one, but to save money I was thinking of using an old AppleVision 1710 monitor with the G5. It actually pretty nice, its built around a SONY Trinton CRT 17in, and has a max resolution of 1152-870, it uses the Apple plug scheme for connection but I can get an adapter to hook it up to VGA.

Hey,

I use the old 17" from my Dell computer (wich I gave away as soon as I got my first mac, a B&W G3)
and since I have my G5 I hooked up an old 20" Apple monitor together with the Dell screen...

I still prefer CRT over TFT for colourcorrection, but I don't have the budget to get 2 nice LaCie CRT monitors...

so this works for me...
