G5 Box?

On the Apple store web page for España, there is a picture of a black box with the PowerMac G5 on the outside.

Is this the actual box the computer ships in?

Well, since I haven't taken delivery of a G5 (and sadly wont be anytime soon) I couldn't say for sure, but yes, it looks like that is probably the box the G5 does ship in

Unfortunately, it looks significantly less sexy in person. The packing tape on top just totally ruins it.

too bad that I had to leave the box of my tiBook in the states when I came back to Germany, but luckily it only was the normal white box... if it had been as sexy as this one I would definenitly have brought it with me...

Anyway, I would say the box is pretty darn impressive. Yes, even sexy. Well, at least the image of it without any tape or anything is that way. You know, I'm really not into using tape and all that kind of kinky stuff.

I think the boxes are slick - Apple has always had great boxes and packaging... I have my old Titanium box in my shelves at work.

And the new G5 with black is definitely cool.
