G5 can't connect to Lynksys router??

Hiya!

I've just got my shinny new 1.8 G5! I installed an airport card but can't set it up to receive from my lynksys router? My ibook can see it so i know it's working.

When I set up my laptop, i had to be right on top of the router untill i found the right channel, but as I can't do this with my mac I don't know how to set it up as the channel change is via the lynksys web site!

Any help gratefuly received!

Have you tried turning the router off and then shutting down your mac. Then for a minute of off time, plug the router back in and then boot up the mac. Sometimes that resets the mac's wireless card.

If that doesn't work, call your cable company and get some IP address in order so they can see which computer is taking in data.

Any other problems with it, I know some more troubleshooting.
