I am the owner of a ZyXel PK500Z DSL modem. I am also the owner of several computers, including a PowerMac G5.
When connected to the DSL modem, the PowerMac G5 will cause the modem to fail and restart, usually within seconds. This occurs repeatedly all while it is connected.
Several attempts to halt this behavior have failed. Placing a router between the modem and the G5 (on the idea it would act as a buffer) failed. Even connecting the G5 to a laptop with Internet Sharing enabled still causes the problem to appear (though, less often).
Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here?
