Hi there. I'm looking for Raid controller for my PowerMac G5 2.0. I fed up with software raid. I have 2x2TB hard drives and constantly loosing one slice. Decided to buy a hardware raid card but cant find the proper one. I know i need a PCI-express but not sure which one model exactly. Any suggestions.

yes thats wright.

Last G5 version
I have PCI-X

Need to find working Raid Controller in this machine. It can have only 2x sata thats all i need.

ok so i have PCI-e and need working raid controller for this. :)

Any suggestions?

Maybe google "PCi-e raid controller for Mac"?

Thats what I would do if I wanted to find out about something. Try out self reliance at least once. It's great.

The one thing I will suggest is to get a FirmTek card. They are pretty much the only company that still makes SATA and RAID cards for Mac and you would see that in a search.

I know you assume that if someone ask a question here never checks google for possible answers. Well i did and come here to small community of people who share powerpc experience with other people when i could't find satisfying answers elsewhere. ;) anyway i got my answers i neede and im really happy about that. Don't really need to read obvious stuff.

Thank you for everyone who assume that i have IQ higher then 70 and i've already did research and gave me good info :). Thank You
