G5 iMac Won't Boot Completely

I have a 20" 2Ghz G5 iMac that i cannot get to boot past the blue screen right before the login screen.
I have tried basically everything to get past this besides replacing the motherboard. I switched out the hard drive to a known working one. I switched out the RAM, Superdrive, Power Supply to all working ones from another iMac.
i have reset the PRAM and even got a new PRAM battery.

The iMac will boot into safe mode successfully, but thats all.
I put the fonts on my desktop thinking that could be causing an issue but still nothing.


I have read about this issue before and it seems common but no one has a definite answer it seems. Does anyone know what it is on here?

Those symptoms (esp. when you've almost replaced everything) in iMac G5 and eMac usually mean bad caps on logic board.

This is my guess also. The iMac G5's are notorious for this issue.

Open it up agin and see if any of the capacitors are bloated or leaking out of the top.
