G5 noise problem

ok so here is the deal... i get a great refurbed system. only problem.. little tiny chriping noises. or clicking noises. strange. it happens when you hold down the mouse and move it around. like when you try to move a window around the screen. also when hidding the dock.

i believe these are known issues with the G5. I own one, and hear small noises, but I am used to it now.

I hear these noises, you're not crazy. I've always assumed it had something to do with the GPU.. who knows. Never asked Apple.

so, of joyious note. my g5 nolonger makes noise... well no longer makes any noise. as it had a compleate hardware failer and is now dead at the apple store getting a look over. it took 2 days of average file moving to kill a g5... while i am pissed ... it was refurbed... so i figure this is sort of good... i well at least get new parts inside... hopefully...

Bummer. I got a refurb and my first one came in DOA, my second one is still running great 3 months later. The ticking and buzzing etc when you move windows around and stuff is normal for the G5 PM.
