Hello,
I'm new to forum but sure could use some help.
Have a newly acquired Power Mac G5 Dual 2.0ghz OSX 10.5 250gb HD & DVDRW 1mb RAM
It powers up and functions normally until I put it to sleep manually, or via 'energy saver'. At which time the screen goes black, and the HD powers down.
However I can't wake it up (no keyboard or mouse control)
A few minutes later, the fans start up and increase in speed and noise ... still no control. My only resort is to use the power button to power the machine down.
If I power it up again, it functions normally until the 'sleep' function is activated.
Has anyone run into this before, and what was the fix?
Thanks for your help.
