Interesting observations made in this video - the same track is run more efficiently on a Dual G5 with Logic 7 than it is in Logic 9 on a Mac Pro - clear indication of software bloat.

I've never used Logic 9, but Logic 7 on my DP 2.0 G5 runs great, with zero stuttering, when I do any sort of processing on my tracks- mixdowns, etc.
