I made backup copies of a few games in Toast 8 and wanted to test them out. Whenever i put them in, it tries to mount, then it ejects. The disks work fine on my MacBook but for some reason wont mount on the powermac. Every other disk i try works fine.

is that... a pioneer dvr-106d or something like that?

you might need to replace your drive.

i would upgrade... they are not much more expensive (if at all) than the cleaner disks, but you get more stuff out of it..

that's what happened to me (well, about 10 months ago) i replaced with the pioneer dvr-111d (or something similar to that) you might be able to get even better ones... i spent like $35 shipped from newegg.
