G5 Quadro FX 4500 fan noise question

I purchased a used Quadro FX 4500 for my Power Mac G5 late 2005.
The card is working great, but the FX 4500 is quite loud. I read an review and they wrote, that the card is loud. Is here somebody, who is experienced with the card and can say something about the fan noise.
If i have to compare the noise, i would say the card is so loud like an old G4 Quicksilver...

What are your experiences with the quadro fx 4500 in the powermac g5.

Mine was loud in my Quad too - I found absolutely no benefits to running it so went back to the stock 6600....and silence

Is it possible to replace the fan with a newer, quieter fan?

The card is really quite loud, but its ok. Important for me to know was the fact, if this behavior is normal.
I still have my passive cooled 6600, if the noise is driving me crazy...
