Ok, so I'm starting to get numerous page-outs using InDesign CS2, so time to up my RAM methinks. My basic specs are in my sig; I currently have 2.5gb (2X256 and 4X512). So I have two questions:

1) does it make sense to get a full 4 gb (4X1gb, replacing the 2X256) for a total of 6gb, or just add 2X1gb?

2) I remember reading on here that the G5s had a "sweet spot" of I think 4gb under Tiger, and that anything above that actually slowed the system slightly. Is that true? If so, would a straight 4gb make more sense than keeping the 2X256 for 4.5?
