G5 Skate = Mac Pro Skate???

Does anyone know if the old G5 Stakeboard works with the current Mac Pros? Looking at it, I don't see why not, but I wanted some confirmation before I spend ~$120 on this thing. Has anyone tried/can try this out?

Post on PowerSupport claims it fits

I browsed the PowerSupport web site, and there's a user that posted a review claiming that it worked on his Mac Pro.
