I am very new to security camera usage and recent security happenings in my neighborhood have prompted me to look into it.
Here is what I would like to do and am hoping that someone on this forum familiar with my plan would be able to help me put it in motion.
Would like to use my older G5 PPC as a means to store and view security camera footage.
Install two cameras one on front porch ceiling and one on rear corner or roof overhang.
Both camera installations would be of the types that mount to an existing flood light sockets.
Presently, G5 does not have wifi capability.
This G5 would only be used for this security function.
Currently running Leopard.
Any suggestions for “how-to” and for camera types to use would be greatly appreciated.
