G5 Can Run OS 9 In Classic Mode - Not Necessarily An Advantage
Do you want-need to run OS 9? Otherwise no. All Core 2 Duo Macs are faster than any dual processor or dual core G5 Macs. Only the Quad G5 is competitive - but still slower - with the Quad Mac Pro and faster than all the Core 2 Duo Macs.
