Greetings,
Last night I installed Apple's lastest security update on my 6-week old dual 2.0 G5. An airport software update and a garageband update was also installed. After it was done, I was told to restart or shut down. I shut down and go to bed.
This morning, I turn the machine and I get the gray screen with the apple in the middle and the little wheel turning. This screen does not go away after 15 minutes. During this time, the fans in the box keep getting louder and louder and louder ... until it sounded like the machine was going to blow. I think I smelled some funky electronics heating up too, but I can't be sure.
Any suggestions?
