GAAAH! Why does my trackpad tracking speed randomly reset!

Am I the only one this happens to? Does anyone else have their trackpad speed on a MBP randomly reset to absolute slowest? It seems like it occurs once a week or so - what could cause something so strange?
 
Same here

You're not the only one, this is happening to me too! Really annoying. Anyone got any ideas?
