I don't need a new mac pro, but I want to buy a new video card and there aren't any good options right now. The existing cards are too expensive and too out of date to justify. I keep hoping there will be some kind of announcement soon. How hard could it be for ati/nvidia to update their offerings, since they ALREADY have mac products? Pathetic.

I assume they're holding off for Apple's new Mac Pro announcement, with both ATI and NVidia BTO options.
Yep, I assume that's true as well, just venting. It seems like _someone_ should know _something_.
The secretive marketing strategy that works for the rest of apple's products shouldn't apply to the Mac Pro.
