Gained 1gb after mavericks

I'm on a 128gb macbook air, so HD space is vital, every mb is important. As I began to download Mavericks i noticed it was a 5 1/2 gb download. I figured its worth it, i had about 37gb free space. to my surprise, after finishing downloading Mavericks, and installing it, I opened my HD to see i have about 38 1/2 gb free! A net gain of about 1 1/2 gigs, nice

I had 29.x GB free before installing Mavericks. 29.5 GB free after. No difference here
