Was anyone under the impression the next iPhone would ship before the S4?

Samsung has always been releasing their Galaxy phones before the iPhone.

Yeah I think everyone is expecting the gs4 way before the next iphone,It makes no sense for either to battle directly with each other timing wise.

They are both 6 months apart from each other, now HTC has some ballz to launch its flag ship with the gs4,just look what happened to BBRY with the z10,it actually just hit stores but no one even cares about it or knows about it from the buzz and hype of the gs4 and htc one

I wouldn't pay $249.99 w/ contract unless it's the 64gb version.

I plan on buying off contract anyway though.

$249.99 does seem like a big risk by AT&T. Anyways, I plan on buying the exynos version anyways. Benchmarks so far have the Octa beating the Snapdragon and having better battery life due to big.LITTLE.

I want the octo version also and would pay the premium over it but how do we know if it will work in the states? or do you live in an area that will get both phones?

I wish someone had a nexus 4 near me that I could try to put my Verizon sim into to see if it works

The Octa supports all 20 bands of LTE. The reason (rumored) they split the S4 with the Snapdragon 600 is because they couldn't crank out enough Octas without delaying the release of the S4.

Samsungs octa chips can support lte but the international gs4 with octa will not have lte. The only sgs4 with lte and octa will be the korean model at first.

I would be interested in buying an unlocked world version of the GS4 for the Octa if I knew 100% for sure that LTE would work guaranteed. Otherwise I've gone down that road with a beast of a phone w/no LTE in the Nexus 4, and I can't live without it. My area is blanketed heavily in LTE so it's a must!

not surprising that they would make it exclusive to the Korean market. Fortunately it will eventually show up on the internet for purchase.
