Hey guys! I was wanting to relive my childhood and play some classic Pokemon games on my 2011 15in Macbook Pro running Mavericks! I currently have SixtyForce (N64 Emulator) on here and it works perfectly! So I tried downloading Boycott Advance and instantly I realized the sound was messed up! But I put it on mute and kept playing anyways! The saving worked fine but then every time I get to the certain same spot in the game it crashes! So with all these glitches I decided to give up on Boycott and try Visual Boy Advance! But more problems came! I can't save any games on VBA! Ive looked up forums and youtube videos and they all say I need to create save file spots which I did and the game claims to save it (I see the saved file) Yet when I click play it will not work! I was wondering if anyone is successfully playing Game Boy Games on their Mac using Mavericks! I think they key question I am asking is "Is it possible for me to play Pokemon (any version) on Maverick?"

Where did you get the roms? I tried using mine but it says invalid!

I don't think I'm allowed to post links to my ROM sources. Even if I did remember where I got 'em from - it's been so long that odds are the site no longer exists.

well what should I do then? I cant get any current roms i have to function with it! I always get invalid file!
