Have some video taken by a game camera of a fox in our backyard, but can't see it on my MacBook. Is it that Quicktime does not do AVI or something else? Manual for game cam indicates files can be viewed on pc or mac. Suggestions?

For watching .AVI files in QT Player, install Perian.
You can also use VLC Player and Movist and some other video player software to play most .avi files.

If your .AVI file does not play in any of these applications, use Use VideoSpec, MediaInfo Mac or MediaInfo to analyse that video and attach the report to your next post. to analyse the .AVI file and attach the report to your next post.
