Game center with shared iTunes account

Me and my wife share an iTunes account between our phones. Does this mean we will only be able to setup 1 profile ? What happens when we are both trying to use it at once ? What happens if we are invited to a game, does both of our phones get the invite ?

You sign in with an Apple ID. It does not have to be the same Apple ID that is linked with the iTunes account used to put apps on that device. So you should be able to have 2 profiles.
