Are there any that will work with the new iPads? I never really gamed on my iPad before, but that basketball game they had in the keynote really sparked my interest.

Thanks!

Sure would be nice if there was an official controller. I imagine the aftermarket ones currently for other iPad's will probably work.

I saw some that attacked to the side of the iPad. Those would be perfect but with the reduced bezel size, Id assume wouldn't work.

+1 for the SteelSeries Nimbus. Had one for a few years now and it’s excellent. Great battery life, charges via Lightning, and pairs really easily with a variety of devices.

The only downside for me is there’s no equivalent of a select button, which can really hinder you on certain games. Not so much on iOS as the control schemes for those games are usually a bit more simplified. But I also use it to play games in OpenEmu on my Mac, and the lack of select button is a dealbreaker for games like Metal Gear Solid.

So while it can’t be the one controller to rule them all, I think the Nimbus is still the best all around controller, especially for iOS/tvOS.

+1 Steelseries Nmbus works great on my 11" and 12.9 IPP 2018

been using it with shadow tech

Another Nimbus user here. Great controller, just a shame that iOS doesn’t support any force feedback on controllers- got too used to that on console games.
