Game install error

I am trying to install a game for windows, that is running windows XP on my iMac, and when I was installing the game, I reached a certain point and got this error:


Feature Transfer Error:

Component: DefaultComponent
File: D:\data2.cab
Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check).

What does that mean? and can i fix it?
