Hi everyone,

I’m an indie developer and just released my new iOS game “SudokuVerse – The Sudoku Universe” and would love to hear some feedback from fellow Apple users.

It’s a clean, minimalistic Sudoku app with a few twists:

  • No ads, no tracking, fully offline – I really wanted something that feels calm and distraction-free.
  • Classic Sudoku & symbol/emoji mode – You can play with numbers or with icons instead, which makes it more playful and also nice for kids or casual players.
  • Smart hints – Hints try to explain the next logical step instead of just filling in a number.
  • Confetti & gentle animations – Small celebrations when you finish a puzzle, but nothing too loud or flashy.
  • Works on iPhone and iPad – Optimized for both.

My goal with SudokuVerse is to offer a simple, fair puzzle game you can play on a plane, in the train, or on the couch – without being pushed into subscriptions, coins, or timers.

If you try it, I’d really appreciate:

  • any feedback about UX/UI (readability, controls, layout on different devices),
  • thoughts on the difficulty curve,
  • and whether the emoji/symbol mode is something you’d actually use.

If this kind of post is not appropriate here, mods please feel free to remove it.

Thanks for reading & happy puzzling! 🙂
