Game Saves Between iPad and iPhone

I tried googling it but nothing came up, and nothing since 2010.

If I play Batman, or HP Lego on my iPhone will my save game transfer to my iPad when I pick it up? Or will I have a totally different save game there?

I'm just wondering since these are games that one purchase works on both, and this would be ideal if I could play a bit at lunch at work and when I get home continue where I left off.

Is this possible?

If the game supports iCloud syncing it will work.

Alright I'll keep an eye out for those games. Shame Lego Harry Potter 1-4 doesn't. Oh well.

Batman: Arkham Lockdown does. So does Infinity Blade 2

If a game supports iCloud or openfeint saves (Like IB and Galaxy on Fire respectively) then you can easily move between devices. Otherwise, you'll have to move saves manually using iFunBox or other iOS browsing software.
