Gamepad not working after Sonoma update

Soooo, maybe I jumped the gun. I updated to Sonoma in the hopes of fixing the known Wifi issue with M1 and M2 Macs since I game with my M1 MacBook Air through Geforce Now and surprisingly... It did seem to help the issue so far! The only issue is that despite recognizing my Xbox Elite controller for all settings purposes and even the 'identify' vibration function... No games, whether through GFN or natively on steam recognize any inputs from my controller now. Any ideas...?

I would unpair the controller and then repair it to the MBA.
