Hi,
I'm curious as to if anyone has found a work-around for gamepad support in crossover? I know it's not officially supported (bug 3913, google it), but I also know there is a way to modify xorg.conf files in Linux to force support if you are using Wine. Unfortunately, Mac and Linux directory structures are not the same, so I cannot find said file to modify.
I also tried the gamepad to keyboard mapping utility that Apple offers on their website, (gamepad companion, http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/games/utilities/gamepadcompanion.html ). It works, but the mapping utility seems bugging for my logitech gamepad, and mapping the analogs to the keyboard doesn't work well in non full-screen games (emulators). I'd like to be able to play project64 and nullDC, and the companion just doesn't cut it. Their controller schemes are too complicated to just use the keyboard.
So, has anyone managed a work-around?
Thanks,
Chris
