Hey guys, I got these Apple laptop from my friend. This is an iBook G4. I really don't know anything about these. Anyway, I've been trying to find games for this laptop, so far the best game I have played is The Battle for Westnoth, which is really awesome. Can you suggest any games, especially poker games. Thanks. By the way the processor is PowerPc 5. Thanks.

Diablo 3 is very good......

Ok it won't run on your computer, I'm just saying it is meant to be good ;)

You are going to be very limited to what you can play on that hardware. Out of date architecture with out of date operating system with out of date GPU (32mb graphics) ..... Solitaire is also good ;)

The early 2000s called. They want their laptop back.

Not everyone needs a quad core laptop you know, G4 Macs are still capable.

@op It would be nice to know the actual specs of the computer before i can recommend anything and that iBook does not have a PowerPC G5 processor in it hence why it's called iBook G4. you should of posted this in the PowerPC forum.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein was always a blast.

Aliens: Colonial Marines (From the Aliens series) was also another great one.

Nanosaur, Bugdom, Ottomatic, Cro-Mag Rally, all of the Pangea Software.

Also, if you figure out how to get Classic installed, there is an application called "Super Maze wars" and it's definitely one of the most exciting games of the '90s.

I also got Halo: Combat Evolved to run pretty well on my old iBook G4. You might be able to find a mac port of the game floating around somewhere. I think they may even have a few people still playing online as well... :)

There are a few websites that offer games for old Macs. You can browse them for ideas of what to purchase or see if anything else suits your interests. One of my favourites has always been 'macintosh garden'. Search in Google. They have lots of old games for Mac OS 9 and earlier, but they also have quite a few for OS X. Not knowing which model iBook you have, I'm not certain if you'll have Classic capability or not. Plus, it will require that you have an OS 9 system folder, which I also highly doubt you have, but who knows? Perhaps you do. Good luck!

Caesar III
SimCity 2000
Civilization II
Myth II Soulblighter
Myth The Fallen Lords
Star Wars Episode 1: Pod Racer

Maybe ask over at the Macintosh Garden forums (google it), your iBook G4 comes from a golden age of Mac gaming.
