I know that there are not a lot of games out for OS X right now, but I am getting together a bunch of demo games for my sister and her computer.

What games would you recommend for them.

I already got Quake III
Tony Hawk II
and a bunch of other shareware games from download.com

thanks

well i've got:

giants citizen kabuto
civilization 3
myth 3
red faction (haven't played yet)

i like giants and civ a lot. i've only played myth a few times...

and there's always sims and things like that.

depends what kind of stuff you're into really.

starcraft is the best 10 bucks you can spend

Rouge Spear is great (still boots in classic though)

Happy playing!!

Unreal Tournament rocks. I don't know if there's a demo or not, but if there is, get it.

What about...

The Sims! It's digital crack, man. It also has the added benefit of having 5 or so expansion packs. Trust me on this one. You need The Sims. You want The Sims. You MUST have The Sims. MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

So far Unreal Tournament, EV Nova and Black & White have manged to keep me from wasting my time :p

Deus Ex is absolute class. I just wish there was an osx patch available. I guess that's what classic's there for.

Games ahh....

Lets see....

Unreal Tournament X
Return To Castle Wolfenstein X
Quake 3 Arena X
Redfaction X
Bolo X ;)
Oni X
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 X

Then you can always download the freebees like emulators...

Neogeo - Metal Slug
SNES - Donkey Kong Games, Super Mario Games
NES - Zelda, Kirby's Dream Land
Atari - PONG!
Sega - loads

Then you can emulate a PC and get more ( Which Might case perment brain damage)

OS's You Can Run or Emulate

System 7
Windoze
Linux
NextSTEP/OpenSTEP
Rhapsody
BeOS - HIGHLY PREFERRED
OS 9! ;)

Well there you got thats most of them now go have fun!

Thanks for all of the pointers. I have already downloaded and filled up two cd's worth of demos.

That should keep them busy
