I have just got an ipad2 and am trying to get football manager 2012 onto it. I have the game and have set it up with the online steam game network but the iPad2 won't seem to run the steam programme. It says safari can't download this page or something similar.

Any help would be appreciated. I understand that I can get the football manager App but would ideally like the full game. Thanks.

The only programs and games you can run on the iPad are ones that are purchased through the App Store, either through iTunes on your computer or through the App Store on your iPad. You can't download and install programs from Safari like you can on a normal computer. Basically, if it's not available on the App Store then it can't be used on the iPad. It's all part of Apple's self-contained ecosystem.

Ok, thank you for your help. I thought it would be like that. Good job they just bought out the app for it then!! Thanks again.
