Hello All,
I got my new MBP ( 13inchbase model) last week. Can my MBP play the recent games like assasins creed 2 , call of duty black ops perfectly on my machine ?

anandtech.com did a recent review of the macbook pros. I would recommend checking it out.

I am sorry, but I don't think it can. I am pretty sure that even on all settings low, the intel HD 3000 would struggle to play COD:BO.
Don't know about assassin's creed though, you might find yourself in a similar situation.

According to the benchmarks:

Call of Duty: Black Ops (SP “Five” Zombie)
Low Settings
2011 MBP with Intel HD 3000 (min/max/avg) = 9 / 65 / 32
2010 MBP with nVidia 320m (min/max/avg) = 38 / 54 / 43
Medium Settings
2011 MBP with Intel HD 3000 (min/max/avg) = 12 / 63 / 26
2010 MBP with nVidia 320m (min/max/avg) = 38 / 57 / 44
High Settings
2011 MBP with Intel HD 3000 (min/max/avg) = 9 / 31 / 20
2010 MBP with nVidia 320m (min/max/avg) = 12 / 26 / 15

According to this, the HD 3000 performs the same or better than the nvidia 320m on OS X and worse on Windows. (probably due to driver optimization)
