Debating between high end 21.5 with fusion drive or low end 27".

Mainly play games like gta, hitman, cod etc
(some say 21.5" will game better due to less pixels??)

Also i word process, video watching and light editing...... Im student so i will get the discount my budget is about £1400

Loads.of these threads but Im still stuck! What do u guys think? Thanks

If any1 thinks that the base 27" would be a much better choice please do say!!!!!

Get a PS3/360 and a laptop.

Honestly, if you're serious about gaming, you won't be happy with anything less than the top 27" with upgraded GPU. Given the budget compromises, the top 21" will perform slightly better at native resolution than the low 27", but you'll be running around Medium settings regardless.

Already got em ;)

Buy a low end macbook and stick to your ps3 & a subscription to Love film game rentals :p

& with all that money you save, buy a PS4/Xbox720 in 6-8 months time...

note* I stuck in the game rental bit, cause well 1 argument for playing games on a desktop could be the ease of piracy. ->not condoning.

I concur, bite the bullet and get the 27" with the upgrade. The problem is it's going to cost you a lot more than £1400.

It's unfortunate that they don't offer the same GPU upgrade path for the 21", a 680MX on the 21" would be awesome. I understand why, heat issues, but if they hadn't gone all anorexic they could have.
