Hey guys I have a mid 2012 macbook pro... bought a gaming headset and was getting no sound from the mic.. so I brought it back and picked up a usb powered headset. now the mic has volume but is VERY quiet. the internal mic is picking up my voice 5x better then the headset even when im a few feet back from the computer with the headset on.Tried it in osx and bootcamped win7. Same issue. Any idea's? I'm wondering if it's something to do with the microphone input port?
