Hello everyone. Has anyone tried playing a game in win7 with the new 11 inch airs? How does the performance stack up between the models? I know its not a gaming machine, but the thought just struck me and now I'm curious.

I had Mid 2010 15" MacBook Pro i5 2.53.

I bought MBA 13" base model and I will use it to play CounterStrike 1.6 under windows. It runs CS at 100FPS but whenever there is a smoke grenade FPS drops to 40. Sure, it is not a gaming machine, but at least this game runs ok. I was fine with sacrificing some FPS to get that portability.

Depends on the game. CPU bound games such as Starcraft II will run better on the 2011 model. GPU bound games (which are more numerous) will generally run the same or better on the 2010 model. But again, its highly dependent on the game in question.
