Anyone who upgraded from 2016-2017 13 and tried games like Overwatch, Diablo 3, WoW, etc., how is the performance and temperatures during these games in comparison to those older models?

I don't think anyone's tried Diablo 3 though. I'd be interested in reading about that as well, my 7 year old MBP barely ran D3 last time I tested it, same with WoW. Now with Battle for Azeroth pre-patch I can't even start WoW anymore; 2011 model year iGPUs aren't supported anymore. No idea if Diablo runs or not, I haven't tested it in a long time now; actually it's not even installed anymore.
