Gaming on MBP 15-inch 2.5GHz with Retina display

The Best Buy near my house has it for $1,650 open box. It has some minor imperfections but the screen is perfect. What kind of gaming can I expect out of this machine?

I have the same model. It works really well in windows for gaming. Take a look at this site for benchmarks:

Keep in mind that apple put in the GDDR5 version, which is even faster than the DDR3 version used on that benchmark site. So, it will perform most similarly to this upgraded version here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-760M.92068.0.html

mid range performance, you won't be able to handle the newest titles without seriously throttling settings, but older titles will run fine, especially if you are running them through bootcamp. Gaming performance on OSx without bootcamp is just terrible regardless of specs.
