Anyone else notice higher frame rates? Im using a MBA with an HD3000.

The Walking Dead- 32 FPS,

LoL- 56FPS

I'm not gaming but the graphics performance is noticeable better in DP4 than in ML on my 2009 Mac mini.

This increase is probably due to the increase in vram that Mavericks has for the integrated GPUs. Also, better drivers.

Yeah, I have definitely seen better graphics and gaming performance.

I like to play Minecraft now and again, and on Mountain Lion there are times when the frame rate drops so low it becomes unplayable.

Granted I've only got an Intel HD 4000, and I crank all the setting to high and play in full HD... But, it has to be said, on Mavericks, those same parts just suffer no detectable frame rate drops,. in terms of game play anyway.

Using a 2012 non-Retina MacBook Pro here there is no bit of performance change between Lion, Mountain Lion and Mavericks.

Games can still do a whole lot better when comparing them to Windows and a lot can be done by optimizing drivers, but game developers can do a lot too.

The system animations are a whole lot smoother though, but I don't see improvements in games or other OpenGL tests.
