The games are pretty cool on iPad, particually Epic Citadel.

Do all games on iPad need Game Centre? as it would be pretty good to play single player.

For example, GTRacing doesn't work, all I get is a black screen.

Thank goodness it was free.

If you like Epic Citadel, download Infinity Blade. IB is an actual game made from the same developers.

Game Center is Apple's Xbox LIVE. Not all games support it but it's cool when it is. I personally feel Apple should forces game devs to use it so all games can be launched from within Game Center. I can't imagine if Microsoft allowed a game to not support LIVE. I'm sure it would be an outrage.

While I like that Apple has tried something, it just feels so meh.

Apple - Here's something cool that only works on some games and the big boys like EA and Gameloft won't touch it. Enjoy!

Me: *goes back to playing Infinity Blade*

Most games do not require Game Center. Some of the free games require it, but they are typically the freemium kind. Paid games do not require it.

You can use the iTunes account you already have to get the apps, or use some other email if you don't want people to see you on GC.
